KARACHI: Sindh government has made up its mind to distribute free pink scooters among the working women during the current week, reported ARY News on Tuesday.

According to details the decision was made in a meeting presided over by Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon after going through the Pink Scooters Program in depth.
It was decided during the session that the provision of pink electric scooters to women will be started this week. Sharjeel Memon said the Sindh government would offer free-of-cost electric scooters to women and female students.

Terming it a revolutionary move, the senior provincial minister added the program will easily enable women to travel between home and educational institutions etc.
He urged all the working women and students to avail themselves of the scheme.

Sharjeel Memon claimed that the Sindh government is determined to provide women with opportunities so that they can get equal participation in education, jobs, and other things.
He further included that the government desires women to become empowered in all aspects of life, and this scheme will become a useful initiative towards their independence.
