The whole thing was done as part of a repost the Duchess made, in a collaborative effort with the anti slavery collective.
The post included a rather educational video that highlighted the variation between a genuine and counterfeit hand bag, and cautioned that “its not just a bargain it’s a hidden world of exploitation, pollution, and organized crime.”

The video also included a caption with additional information and it is, “Did you know that Fake fashion is a booming business worth hundreds of billions fueling a hidden web of exploitation and harm to people and planet? From child exploitation and forced labour to human trafficking, fake fashion – the kind you can shop online, on the streets, or on holiday – is rampant with harm.”
