Pakistani stars have begun taking up the viral “acha jee” challenge, pioneered by Karachi’s social media star Samra Shehzadi.
Celebrity stars Mahira Khan and Mawra Hocane recently posted videos impersonating the influencer, sending netizens into raptures.
Mahira shared an Instagram story in which she was not only noticed replicating Samra but also encouraging her, saying: “Acha jee aisa hai kya? [Oh, is that so?]”
Mahira tagged her in a story on Instagram, writing: “Same to same Mahira Khan … acha jee aisa hai kya?”
In the caption, “Love Guru” star wrote: “I love you, you’re a little star.”

Mahira did not rest there and replied sweetly: “My dear, stay blessed, stay happy, Ameen.”
Samra, a content creator from Karachi who became famous on social media with her bubbly attitude and catchphrases, was also replicated by Mawra.
Samra — a machine operator at a garment factory — was left stunned and elated at the reaction of the high-profile actors. She re-shared Mahira’s post on Instagram, commenting: “I love you too, JazakAllah.”
The influencer informed Geo Digital that she never thought Mahira would have copied her. “Seriously, I love it! I love Mahira Khan so much [.]. I am so happy,” she further said.
During a recent interview, Samra explained that she had always dreamed of becoming an actress and helping her family.
