KARACHI: The last medico-legal report of Pakistani model and actress Humaira Asghar’s death has turned into a new direction, raised many questions and intensified doubts regarding the cause of her mysterious death reported.
In the report, issued by the forensic authorities, stains of blood on her clothes, including her T-shirt and trousers, have been detected. Not only this, but DNA traces have also been recovered.
But the fact that the main organs were missing and her body in an incomplete state is the reason why the investigators cannot identify the precise reason behind the death of Humaira Asghar.
Police officials have stated that her bones alone were discovered intact from her apartment in DHA Phase VI, Karachi, where she was residing independently since 2018.

Previously, her body was found in the process of decomposition during a court-mandated exclusion for unpaid rent. The door to the apartment was locked from the inside, and officers were forced to gain entry to the premises.
Police authorities have verified that one of Humaira’s mobile phones remains missing, which could potentially hold key evidence as to what happened to her in her final days.
Because they do not possess a national database of blood and DNA, it becomes much more difficult for investigators to know where the biological samples present on her clothing originated.
No trace of drugs or poisons were detected in her remains, making it even more challenging to identify clues to Humaira Asghar’s murder.
This case has generated fresh concerns regarding how cut off and vulnerable artists who live alone can be, particularly following the recent passing of popular actress Ayesha Khan in similar circumstances.

All the bowls retrieved from the apartment were found to have salt in them, according to investigation sources. The chemical analysis report has been submitted to the police for further review.
