ABU DHABI: The Pakistan team won the toss and chose to field first against Sri Lanka in their vital Pak vs SL match of the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025 Super Four at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha declared that his team will play without any alteration in the high-stakes Asia Cup match, maintaining the same combination as they had for their last game.

Contrary to that, Sri Lanka skipper Charith Asalanka announced that two changes were made to the side for the Pak vs SL game. Mahesh Theekshana and Chamika Karunaratne have come into the playing XI in place of Kamindu Mendis and Dunith Wellalage. Asalanka further mentioned that if Sri Lanka had won the toss, they would also have chosen to bat first.

Sri Lanka: Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis (wk), Kusal Perera, Charith Asalanka (c), Dasun Shanaka, Kamindu Mendis, Chamika Karunaratne, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera and Nuwan Thushara.
