Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has criticized India and its state institutions, such as the Army, for being under the influence of extremist political ideologies.

“It is very important that the international stakeholders, such as US, they need to get involved and address the issues which are the root causes of the current conflict [between India and Pakistan,” Lt-Gen Chaudhry stated while talking in an interview with a German news channel on September 5.
